This is the original storyboard rough I created for the introduction animation for our website. I was inspired by listening to my instructors and reading about the history of Capoeira Angola. I think many people see the shell of Capoeria . . . the entertainment factor but when you learn the true history you feel it especially as a descendent of enslaved Africans. The concept hit me one night and I fleshed these boards out and went to work on the animation. I wanted the entire spot to feel rough and loose and kept it in black and white to match our uniforms.
